John Robson
John Robson is a columnist with the Ottawa Citizen, a broadcaster with News Talk Radio 580 CFRA in Ottawa, a host with iChannel in Toronto and a policy analyst with Breakout Educational Network. He holds a Ph.D in American history from the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in foreign and economic policy. In addition to being the author of the parable The Grasshopper, the Ant and the Beaver, he has written regularly for publications including Fraser Forum, Western Standard, and Gravitas on economics, political philosophy, international relations and cultural and moral affairs. He was a contributing editor to Gravitas magazine.
He is a proud scion of the Gunn clan and therefore, of course, opposes gun control.
He lives in Ottawa, where he spends much of his spare time looking for his ball in the mosquito-infested tall grass down the left side of the fairway during the brief period when the aforementioned grass is not itself hidden by all the blasted snow!
